Your Child’s Orientation / Adjustment ( Day Care And After School Care Children)

Your child will have some fears about being away from you and be with unfamiliar faces and environment. Prepare your child for the changes as early as possible. Talk to your child about the new people that your child will meet and the new things your child will do. The centre will conduct a orientation session for both the parents and the child before commencement. If possible, parents are allowed to spend the first few hours with the child to help him / her adjust to the new environment.

The parents have to provide the following items. The items need to be labeled with the child’s name. :

-Two sets of clothing a clean bath towel and a face towel

- A sweater

- A plastic bag for dirty and wet clothing

-? A comb ( optional )

- Plastic Mug ( optional )

-? Baby Foam Bath - replenish every ? yearly

- ?Baby Shampoo -?replenish every ??yearly

-Toothpaste -?replenish every?? yearly

- Toothbrush -change P.R.N

Dressing Code

To wear Smart Method Kids uniform. No jewellery/watches to be worn by the child.?

Personal Clothing

Clothes, bath towel, etc. and sweater have to be brought home for washing as there is no laundry service available at the centre.

Responsibilities (Parents)

1) To inform the centre if and when you will be late in picking up the child.

2)To inform the centre if and when you have arranged another person to pick up the child.

3) To inform the centre if and when your child has been sick.

Parental Involvement

Parents are encouraged to attend any orientation programmes, Open day, talks organized by the centre. Additionally, any relevant feedback should be communicated to the teachers and principal on the child’s development and progress.
